i appreciate the efforts of our supervisor to get the roadsides cleaned up and have helped in that endeavor. however I sincerely wish that the businesses and the Chamber of Commerce would really make an effort to keep the Town tidy. Could we have a contest to see which business (that wants us to shop there) could make a serious effort at cleanup?
What about the Stewarts Shops? No more messy roadsides and parking lotsnext to their buildings .. What about bigger and more waste containers and keeping their dumpsters closed.
What about making sure that Wright trash Co doesn't let half their recycling drop off the truck? You can see plastic everything along the by-pass and other roadways where they travel. Is this all individual litter or stuff that blows off the trucks?

The Bethlehem Public Library is rushing through a plan to build new--unnecessary--parking lots. They have been buying and destroying good housing stock in the neighborhoods for years, then letting the vacant lots sit there, and are now rushing to build new parking lots. This is not a green plan! Nor new urbanist! Nor smart! It is an old model that we need to move away from.
