A sunny day here at the Bethlehem Middle School in Delmar as the Delmar (Farmers) Market opened for the season. Crowds started pouring in for the 9am start continuing to flow until closing time at 1pm.
Happy shoppers purchased goods ranging from local farm-grown flowers, fruits and veggies, handmade birdhouses, handmade jewelry and pocketbooks to homegrown honey, fresh eggs, meat and more. Some vendors were so successful they sold out early.
Music by the Solidarity Singers and a guitarist helped fill the air with wonderful sounds for all to enjoy.
